about

Wolseley, named after Field Marshall Sir Garnet Wolseley, lies in the heart of the Breede River Valley, one of the largest fruit and wine producing regions of the Western Cape and Southern Africa.

This scenic valley, surrounded by the majestic Cape fold mountains, is also home to Wolfpack, the Wolseley Fruit Packers (PTY) Ltd. Wolfpack was found in 1983 by seven local producers who identified the need to combine their expertise and resources. Today Wolfpack has 13 Shareholders and boasts one of the most modern packhouses in the region.

Wolfpack specialises in pears and packs about 900 000 cartons annually for export. The pears are sorted by electronic weight sizing and stored in a number of regulated and controlled atmosphere coldstores.

Wolfpack has been synonymous with high quality fruit since its inception. We aim to ensure that our members use agricultural practices which promote fruit quality and safety, minimise environmental impact and encourage the social development of their employees.
